Bulimia and Eye Bleeding?

My best friend told me tonight (via myspace) that she was purging and her eye "exploded" and bled a lot. I am the same way, but trying to recover, and I'm worried. I tried to go over to her house but since it's almost midnight, she wouldn't wake up and answer the door. She said if it isn't better by the morning, she won't be at school. I'm thinking about skipping to see how she is and give some moral support and possibly talk her into recovery with me. My specific question is, how bad will it get? What are the effects? Could she go blind? She's an artist and blindness would just kill her, even if it is in one eye. Please answer soon!
