My 2 year old sleepwalks..?

My 2 year old son started sleepwalking about a month ago. Sometimes he stands on his pillow and bangs his head on the wall and other times he just sits up in his bed and talks jibberish. I'm worried about it because he has started to do it almost nightly now. Is it normal for him to do this at such a young age???
