Why are people offended by a piece of fruit but are totally ok with thugs, pimps, and hos?

Mainstream hip hop is a degenerate minstrel show. The 19th century ones were basically Hee Haw in blackface. Ain’t nothing wrong with watermelon. NOTHING. It’s a traditional southern favorite. I know it wasn’t watermelon per se that was offensive, but the fact that blacks were portrayed as nothing but genetically inferior rednecks that were good for nothing but lounging around, eating watermelon, and entertaining whitey. But as for today, not only are the new stereotypes worse, but the old one was a myth created by white people whereas today’s ones are true-they’re created by BLACK people. Black rappers degrade themselves and too many black people find this totally ok. In the old days when morals were stronger for blacks and whites alike (except certain things like segregation obviously but back then that was only a white choice) we would have not stood for this self-travesty. Ever.
